Bollywood star and ex-beauty queen Sushmita Sen has marked daughter Alisah's 16th birthday with a heartfelt note. She continued to commend her accomplishments, generous spirit, and recent position as school captain.

Sushmita went on Instagram, posting 19 pictures of herself with Alisah and her older daughter Renee. It showcased their joyful experiences from their vacations and festivities shared together.

For the caption, she said: “Happpyyyyyy 16th Birthday Shona @alisahsen47 The Sweetest Sixteen I know….and nope, I’m not biased!!! Simply a very proud mother of a beautiful spirit, possessing the kindest heart and a truly loving presence!!!

The actress expressed that she observed all of Alisah's accomplishments and is amazed.

"I watch in amazement at all of your accomplishments …realizing there is still so much ahead!!!" What a wonderful year lies ahead for you, my shona Maa!!! “May God continually bless you with the finest of gifts… May your fate be as elegant as you!!!” she penned.

The 49-year-old actress has two daughters whom she adopted. At 24 years old, she adopted her first daughter, Renee Sen, in 2000, and her second daughter, Alisah, became part of the family in 2010.

On the professional side, Sushmita’s most recent appearance was in Aarya 3, a crime-thriller drama TV series from Ram Madhvani. The series features Sushmita Sen in the lead role and is inspired by the Dutch drama series Penoza.

The show follows Aarya, a self-reliant woman determined to safeguard her family, who becomes involved with a mafia group to avenge her husband's death. Lately, the series has received a nomination for International Emmy Awards for best Drama series.
