Rooted in this unique philosophy, TAOStudiO was founded in 1994, in Pune with a vision and mission to create architectural spaces that connect individuals with them- selves and their environment. TAOStudiO offers
a comprehensive suite of professional services, including Architecture, Interiors, Design Coordination, Procurement Assistance, Landscape Design, Furniture Design, Execution Coordination, and Art Installations.
The studio is led by its founder and principal architect, Manish Banker, a 1991 graduate from the Institute of
Environmental Design. His deep-rooted belief in architecture as a spiritual and experiential journey
shapes TAO’s unique design approach. Manish is an Associate Member of both the ‘Council of Architecture’ and the ‘Indian Institute of Architects’. The studio comprises a dedicated team of 30 architects, interior designers, and coordinators working in a stateof- the-art studio. TAOStudiO aims to dissolve the boundaries between the built and natural environment, creating spaces that are not only efficient but also emotionally and spiritually enriching. TAOStudiO’s philosophy centers on crafting architecture that fosters harmony between humans and nature, using intangible spatial experiences as a powerful design and creative tool.
