Their six-story residence, merging elegance with minimalism, is approaching its final stages.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's new home, Krishna Raj, is named in honor of his deceased paternal grandmother and the spouse of the late iconic director Raj Kapoor, Krishna Kapoor. The 6-story house is nearing completion.

Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's new house has been being built for months prior to their wedding in April 2022. The Krishna Raj bungalow, although still a work in progress at that time, was adorned with lights prior to the intimate wedding. At last, following years of oversight by the couple, their six-storey new residence is nearing completion. The villa is the same residence where Raj Kapoor used to reside in the past.

A viral video on social media showcases a complete frontal view of Ranbir and Alia’s six-storey mansion situated in Bandra, Mumbai. The house is said to be valued at Rs 250 crore and showcases a blend of elegance and simplicity, complemented by abundant greenery on every balcony. Large but graceful chandeliers are also visible within the bungalow, as per the footage captured from afar.

According to various reports, the bungalow is almost finished. Following interior renovations expected to take another month, the bungalow will be prepared for occupancy. Alia and Ranbir are expected to move into their new home around Diwali, at the end of October. This will enable the couple to commemorate their daughter Raha Kapoor’s third birthday on November 8 in their new residence.

Ranbir and Alia are presently living in their apartment at Vastu, an upscale residence located in Bandra itself. It’s the residence where the couple exchanged vows in a private ceremony in 2022. The closeness to their new residence enabled Ranbir and Alia to frequently visit the bungalow being built and oversee the progress themselves. Ranbir's mother Neetu Kapoor was noticed doing likewise on several occasions.

In their professional lives, Ranbir and Alia are set to appear together again four years after their 2022 supernatural film, Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva, in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s romantic movie Love & War, featuring Vicky Kaushal, which is expected to release next year. Bhansali occupies a significant place in their careers, as Alia received her first National Award for his 2022 movie Gangubai Kathiawadi. Conversely, Ranbir began his journey as an assistant director on Bhansali’s 2005 movie Black and as a main actor in his 2007 film Saawariya.

In addition to Love & War, Ranbir will portray Lord Rama in Nitesh Tiwari’s two-part retelling of the Indian epic, Ramayana. The initial segment is scheduled to hit theaters for the Diwali celebration next year. In the meantime, Alia will soon star in Shiv Rawail’s spy thriller Alpha, the subsequent installment in Aditya Chopra’s YRF Spy Universe following War 2. Alpha will premiere in theaters this Christmas on December 25
