Rajinikanth and Hrithik Roshan's Independence Day films Coolie and War 2 are set to finish their second week at the box office. The outlook appears dismal as neither of the major releases has indicated any signs of progress thus far.

Coolie, in its second Wednesday, generated Rs 4.50 crore, raising the total to Rs 268.75 crore.

In the first week, Coolie generated Rs 229.75 crore at the local box office.

Conversely, the collection of War 2 grew somewhat stagnant. On the second Wednesday, the movie earned Rs 2.50 crore, bringing the cumulative total to Rs 229.75 crore.

What Taran Adarsh Stated Regarding Coolie And War 2

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh informed NDTV that neither film succeeded at the box office. "War 2 is a failure." It's the initial failure from the YRF Spy universe. Coolie succeeded in the Tamil region, but it failed to leave an impression in the Hindi region.
