Creating & managing deals

How do I create a deal?
Choose Post → Services & Deals and select the deal option, or start from Business → My Deals. Choose an offer type and design, then fill in the details while watching the preview.
- Choose percentage off, buy one get one, or special price, then select a template.
- Add a clear title, offer details, optional photo and any applicable prices or quantity.
- Set the business location, in-store or online use, expiry and conditions.
- Review the actual design and complete the account steps before publishing.
Can I reuse or extend an expired deal?
Yes. Open My Deals and use the reuse or extension action available for the offer. Review the existing design and details, update the expiry and quantity as needed, then publish or save the changes. Expired terms and old stock amounts should not be carried forward without checking.
How many deal designs can I choose from?
Each offer type has three designs. Percentage-off, buy-one-get-one and special-price offers have their own template choices. The examples show what you can create; replace the example content with your own truthful title, offer details and photo.
Can I see the design update while I type?
Yes. After choosing the offer type and template, the editor shows your inputs alongside the live design on wider screens. The layout adapts on mobile. Review the title, amount, unit, image and expiry in the preview and return to edit before publishing.
Why should I use my own offer title?
The title should tell customers what they can get, such as “Fresh sushi selection” or “Iced latte for two”. The offer badge explains the discount type separately. A generic label such as “Bundle offer” does not tell people what you are offering.
Do I need to enter an item price for every deal?
Use the fields required by the chosen offer type. A percentage or buy-one-get-one deal can communicate its offer without making an unrelated selling price the headline. A special-price deal needs a clear offer amount and unit. Where an original price is supplied, it must accurately support the saving shown.
Can I publish a deal without uploading a photo?
Yes. The editor can use category artwork when no custom image is supplied. A relevant original photo can make the offer clearer. Use an image you are allowed to publish and review its crop in the template before publishing.
Can I start a deal before I have an account?
Yes. You can begin the draft, then complete the sign-in and required mobile/business setup before publication. Keep using the same browser during the handoff so the local draft can be restored. Existing business details are reused where available; a draft is not public.
Can I connect Google Business Profile to fill in my details?
The deal setup offers Connect your Google Business Profile when the connection is available. Sign in, authorise the connection and choose the business you manage, then review the imported details before publishing. If the screen says the connection is not available yet, search for your business in the picker or enter its details manually. An existing LifeNavi business can be reused.
Can the same deal work in-store and online?
Choose in-store, online or both in the deal editor. Supply the shop address for in-store use and a valid HTTPS offer URL for online use. Explain any differences in eligibility or collection in the terms so customers know which route applies.
How do I set when a deal ends?
Use the date, time or date-and-time controls offered by the editor. A date-only expiry ends at the end of that local day; time-only means today in the selected market. A time that has already passed is rejected. Review the final expiry before publishing.
Can I limit the number available?
Yes. Add the available quantity when the offer has limited stock. Merchant-confirmed voucher redemptions reduce the remaining amount. Merely opening a deal or generating a QR code does not reduce stock. Keep the quantity accurate if stock also sells outside the voucher flow.
Does a published deal wait for the next notification time?
No. A successfully published, currently eligible deal can appear immediately. Notifications are a separate schedule. The next eligible roundup depends on when the notification request was submitted, the deal’s expiry and the selected market’s cutoff times.
How do I stop an offer temporarily?
Open Business → My Deals and use Pause on the deal. Paused deals are excluded from public availability and eligible promotions. Resume it when appropriate, provided it has not expired and remains valid. Pausing a deal is different from stopping only its notifications.
How does my business confirm a customer’s QR code?
Scan the customer’s QR code with your phone camera, or open the code-validation route from My Deals. Sign in as the owning business, review the deal and voucher, then confirm redemption. Only confirm after checking that the customer meets the offer terms.
A confirmed redemption uses the voucher once and reduces limited stock once. Check the result before attempting to validate it again.
Can any staff member redeem my deal vouchers?
The current redemption check requires the owning business account. Separate delegated staff redemption is not provided by the deal system. Do not share your sign-in credentials to work around this. Service-booking staff permissions do not automatically grant deal-redemption access.
Why does my deal edit say the record changed?
Another action may have updated the deal since you opened it—for example, a stock redemption or an edit in another tab. Refresh the latest saved version, check the current quantity and reapply your intended changes. This prevents an older form from restoring stock that has already been used.
