013.1 Account and contact data

We may collect your name, username, phone number, email address, account identifier, country, date-of-birth or age confirmation, login and one-time-password verification records, language, and account preferences.

023.2 Profile, business, and provider data

If you create a personal, business, or service-provider profile, we may collect profile photos, business and contact details, addresses, operating hours, service areas, staff profiles, qualifications or certificates you submit, service descriptions, availability, pricing, and verification information.

We collect information and files you submit in job, candidate, property, vehicle, buy-and-sell, service, deal, business, article, video, review, and noticeboard content. This can include CVs or work histories, photos, videos, descriptions, prices, locations, and contact details you choose to include.

Information in a public profile or listing can be seen by other users and may be copied or shared by them. Do not include private details in content intended for public display.

We may process:

You can manage device location permissions in your device settings. Some nearby or map features may not work without location access. We do not use background location unless a feature requires it, the device permission is enabled, and the feature gives you a clear notice.

People may be able to create a LifeNavi account from countries outside our active service markets. Local listings and services are available only in selected markets. We may use the precise device location you authorize, a location you enter, or approximate location inferred from your IP address to check whether an area is active. If it is not active, we may show a notice that local services are unavailable there and display content from active markets. Being able to create an account does not mean local services are available in that area.

For a booking, we may process the service selected, requested time, location and access instructions, customer and provider details, staff assignment, booking status, messages, cancellation or dispute information, and payment status. We share information needed to arrange and provide the booking with the relevant provider and, where applicable, assigned staff.

For NaviChat and support, we may process message text, attachments, participants, delivery status, timestamps, reports, and support correspondence. For NaviCall, we may process call participants, call time, duration, connection and quality data, and technical logs. Call audio or video is transmitted to provide the call. LifeNavi does not routinely record calls or create transcripts unless a particular feature clearly tells you it will do so and obtains any consent required by law.

We may receive transaction amount, currency, item or service purchased, payment status, refund, invoice, chargeback, and limited payment-method details from payment providers or app stores. We generally do not receive or store full payment-card numbers when the payment is handled by a third party.

If a feature pays sellers, providers, or other users, the payment or payout provider may collect identity, business, tax, bank-account, or verification documents directly from you. LifeNavi may receive verification status and information needed to administer the transaction. The provider's own privacy notice also applies.

We may collect device type, operating system, app version, language, IP address, browser details, identifiers, crash and diagnostic data, security events, pages or screens viewed, searches, listing interactions, feature use, and approximate timestamps.

If a LifeNavi voice assistant is available, it may process the audio you submit, the resulting text or transcript, your request, location or other context you provide, and the answer generated for you. The assistant interface will identify the relevant provider and give additional notice where audio is sent to an external AI provider.

We may receive information from other users, business owners, service providers, public sources, Google Places or other map and business-data services, app stores, payment providers, identity or business-verification providers, and security or analytics providers. We may combine that information with information already associated with your account where permitted by law.

4. How we use personal data

We use personal data for these purposes:

We use only data that is reasonably relevant to the stated purpose and keep it only as long as needed for that purpose or as required by law.

5. Legal grounds and your choices

Depending on the law that applies and the feature involved, we process personal data because:

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place lawfully. If you do not provide data that is necessary for an account, listing, payment, or booking, we may be unable to provide that feature.

6. Location and live service tracking

LifeNavi uses location to show relevant nearby information, support location-based searches, and check whether your area is an active service market. You can also enter a location manually. We do not require precise GPS for every search. If your area is not active, the app may tell you that local LifeNavi services are unavailable there and may show content from active markets.

For a home, office, or other on-location booking, the customer may need to provide the service address. We share that address and necessary access instructions with the booked provider and assigned staff. If live tracking is enabled, the provider's location is shared with the customer only for the relevant booking and for the period needed to provide arrival or service-status updates.

A provider's live location is not a public profile field. A provider can manage device permissions, but turning off location may prevent live arrival updates from working. The app should clearly show when live location is active.

7. Public profiles, listings, and sharing with other users

When you choose to publish a profile, listing, review, article, photo, or video, the information you submit may be visible to other LifeNavi users and, depending on the feature, to the public. Public content may be indexed, copied, or retained by third parties outside LifeNavi's control.

When you contact a business, provider, seller, employer, candidate, or other user, we share the information reasonably needed to respond or complete the interaction. In a booking, this may include your name, selected service, contact channel, booking time, and service address. We do not publish private account details merely because you use a feature.

You control the content and contact details you choose to publish, subject to the platform's terms and safety rules. Remove or edit public content through the relevant account tools or ask us for help.

8. NaviChat and NaviCall

We process message content and related information to deliver communications, enable user-initiated contact, provide support, enforce safety rules, and investigate reports. Authorized safety personnel may review reported content or relevant information when needed to investigate abuse, fraud, or a safety concern.

Call audio and video are transmitted to connect the participants. We process call setup and technical information needed to operate and secure the service. We do not promise end-to-end encryption unless the app expressly identifies a particular conversation or call as end-to-end encrypted. We do not routinely record or transcribe calls. If recording, transcription, or AI analysis is added, we will provide a clear notice and obtain any legally required consent before use.

If you choose to open WhatsApp or another external communications app, that service receives data under its own terms and privacy policy.

9. Payments, promotions, and advertising

Payments may be processed by Apple, Google, Stripe, Xendit, or another provider depending on your country, the purchase, and the method you choose. The checkout screen identifies the provider handling the payment. The provider may use your payment information for fraud prevention, regulatory checks, payment processing, and its own legal obligations.

LifeNavi may charge for promoted listings, boosts, advertising products, subscriptions, bookings, or other features. We may use the listing category, selected place, search context, and approximate or precise location (depending on your permissions) to display relevant promotions. We provide advertisers with campaign delivery or performance information. Our current model does not sell personal data or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. If this changes, we will update this policy and provide the choices required by law.

We send marketing messages only as permitted by applicable law. You can unsubscribe from promotional email or push communications using the provided controls. We may still send essential account, security, booking, payment, and legal notices.

10. Articles, partner content, and external services

LifeNavi may display articles, news, videos, business information, maps, or other content supplied by publishers and third-party providers. Those providers may receive technical information when your device requests their content or opens their links. We do not provide them with your account identity or reading history unless you choose an interaction that requires it or a specific notice explains otherwise.

A link to another website, app, publisher, map, payment service, or communication service takes you outside LifeNavi. The third party's own privacy policy governs its collection and use of information.

11. AI, recommendations, and automated tools

We may use automated tools and AI systems to classify listings, improve search, order or recommend local results, identify fraud or spam, moderate content, and support customer service. If a voice assistant is enabled, it may use your submitted speech and request context to understand and answer your request.

These systems may use your location, account settings, listing details, searches, and interactions relevant to the feature. They may make mistakes. We do not use a solely automated decision to produce a legal or similarly significant effect on you unless we first provide the disclosures, choices, safeguards, and review rights required by applicable law.

You may request review of a moderation or account decision through the appeal route shown in the notice we send or by contacting support.

12. Cookies, analytics, and similar technologies

Our websites and apps may use essential technologies for login, security, preferences, and service operation. With any consent required by law, we may also use analytics, diagnostics, and advertising-measurement technologies.

You can manage website cookies through the cookie banner or settings where available, and manage app permissions or advertising choices through your device settings. Blocking essential technologies may affect the service. Our separate Cookie Policy should identify the actual cookies, SDKs, purposes, retention periods, and opt-out choices.

We will not use non-essential cookies or tracking technologies in a jurisdiction that requires prior consent until that consent is obtained.

13. Who receives personal data

We may disclose personal data, limited to what is reasonably needed, to:

Service providers may process data only for our documented purposes and under appropriate contractual safeguards. A third party that determines its own purposes, such as a payment provider or app store, acts under its own privacy notice.

14. International transfers

LifeNavi Limited is based in Hong Kong and may use service providers that process data in other countries. This means your personal data may be transferred to a country with privacy laws different from those where you live.

Where applicable law requires it, we use an approved transfer mechanism or other safeguard, such as contractual protections, and take steps to protect data during transfer. We provide more specific information about transfer destinations and safeguards where required by law.

15. How long we keep data

We keep each category only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, then delete it, anonymize it, or securely isolate it unless law permits or requires further retention.

The actual retention periods depend on the record type, country, and legal obligations. LifeNavi must maintain an internal retention schedule and publish more specific periods where required by law. We do not keep identifiable data indefinitely just in case it may be useful later.

16. Your privacy rights and how to contact us

Depending on your country, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal data; to object to or restrict some processing; to withdraw consent; to opt out of certain advertising or sharing; or to complain to a privacy regulator.

To make a request, email [email protected] from your account email. Tell us your country, the account or feature involved, and the action you are requesting. We may verify your identity and authority before responding. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. Some requests may be limited where we must retain information, protect another person's rights, or establish or defend a legal claim.

You can edit profile and listing details, change location permissions, manage marketing choices, and close your account using available account settings. Closing an account does not automatically remove public business information or reviews that have an independent lawful basis to remain visible; where appropriate, we will remove your direct identifiers or explain why information remains.

17. Regional privacy information

LifeNavi does not currently operate local marketplace or service coverage in the EEA. People in the EEA may still be able to create an account, but local listings and services are limited to active markets. We may use location as described in Sections 3.4 and 6 to determine whether an area is active, and the app may display content from active markets.

Where the GDPR applies, we identify the legal ground for each purpose in Section 5. You may exercise the rights described in Section 16 and complain to your local supervisory authority.

Where applicable, California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, and delete personal information; to opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising; and to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information. LifeNavi does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising under its current model. We will honor valid opt-out preference signals where required by law. We do not discriminate against people for exercising privacy rights.

If our practices change, this notice will identify the relevant categories and purposes and provide the required opt-out or limitation controls. Other U.S. state laws may provide similar rights, which we will honor where applicable.

Where the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its rules apply, you may have rights to be informed, access, correct, object, block or erase, obtain data portability, and seek compensation or lodge a complaint, subject to legal conditions and exceptions. You may contact the National Privacy Commission. LifeNavi remains accountable for personal data it controls when it uses a processor or transfers data, as applicable under law.

We process personal data of people in India in accordance with applicable Indian privacy law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and rules as their provisions take effect. We will provide notices, consent choices, rights channels, and grievance contacts required for the provisions applicable to the relevant processing. LifeNavi's 18+ account rule means it does not knowingly offer accounts to children under 18.

Where UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data applies, you may exercise rights available under that law, subject to its conditions and exceptions. You may use the privacy contact in Section 16. Separate rules may apply to particular UAE free zones or regulated sectors.

Where the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance applies, you may request access to or correction of your personal data and exercise applicable choices concerning direct marketing. A request may be subject to the Ordinance's requirements and permitted fees.

Where Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) applies, you may exercise rights available under that Act and contact the Data Protection Commission. LifeNavi will provide required notices and safeguards for processing and transfers.

18. Security and incidents

We use technical, organizational, and administrative safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Measures may include access controls, encryption where appropriate, staff confidentiality duties, monitoring, backups, and incident response.

No online service can guarantee perfect security. If a personal data incident occurs, we will investigate, take steps to limit harm, and notify affected people or regulators where required by law.

19. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our products, data practices, or legal obligations change. We will post the current version with its effective date. If a change materially affects how we use personal data, we will provide any notice or choice required by law. We will not rely on continued use alone as consent where the law requires affirmative consent.
