What is the difference between an impression and a view?
An impression measures a public card being at least half visible for one second. A qualified view requires the detail page to be open in a focused, visible tab for five seconds. A quick tap, background tab or preloaded page is not automatically a qualified view.
Where can I see results for my ads and deals?
Open Performance in the correct account mode. Business reports include Ads and Deals filters and a selector for individual items. You can also use Performance from a managed listing or deal to open its detail report.
What do the deal performance numbers mean?
Impressions count qualifying card exposure and views count qualifying detail viewing. Opens measure deal reveals. QR codes count newly issued visitor vouchers. Redeemed counts merchant-confirmed voucher use. Shop clicks measure outbound online-shop actions. These are separate stages, not six different types of sale.
Why are there more QR codes than redemptions?
A customer can generate a voucher and never use it. QR codes measure issuance; Redeemed measures a successful merchant confirmation. Issuing a voucher does not prove a visit, reserve stock or create revenue.
Does an online-shop click count as a sale?
No. It records that a visitor opened the merchant’s online-offer link. Payment and order completion happen on the merchant’s site and are not confirmed by that click. Do not calculate revenue from shop clicks alone.
What are contact actions, confirmed enquiries and engaged enquiries?
A contact action is a tap on an available contact method. A confirmed enquiry is the first buyer NaviChat message saved to the real conversation. An engaged enquiry means the advertiser replied. External email, phone or messaging taps do not prove a delivered message or completed call.
Do my own visits count toward performance?
Own activity, recognised bots and unavailable content are excluded from public measurement. Repeated actions are subject to deduplication and eligibility checks. Check the account, listing and reporting period to see the measured results for the content you manage.
Which dates and timezone do performance reports use?
Choose the available 7-, 30- or 90-day period in the report. Reporting days use UTC. Deal expiry and notification schedules use the deal market’s local time, so an event near midnight may fall on a different reporting date than you expect.
Can I export my performance report?
Use the CSV export in Performance after selecting the account, item scope and date range. The export follows that report context. Use the definitions alongside the report when comparing ads with deals; their outcome metrics are different.
Why is my report empty or showing zero?
There may be no qualifying activity for the selected account, country, listing or date range. Brief visits, your own activity and visits without the required measurement consent may be excluded. Check the report filters and refresh before assuming activity is missing.
Do campaign results prove the boost caused a sale?
No. Campaign cards can show measured listing activity over their stated period, but this is not a controlled measure of extra sales caused by the boost. Scheduled rounds are not delivered impressions, and online clicks are not purchases. Compare like-for-like periods and metrics.
Why are ad and deal activity prices different?
They use different measurement and pricing rules. Deal qualified views have their own rate; deal opens, QR codes, redemptions and shop clicks are separate zero-rated outcomes. Ad pricing uses its enquiry stages. Read the current statement and quote rather than adding every visible metric as a separate charge.
