When are nearby deal notifications sent?
Nearby deal roundups are scheduled for 8 AM, 12 noon and 5 PM in the selected market’s local timezone. Deals can be visible before those times. The bell groups eligible offers into roundups instead of requiring a separate immediate alert for every deal.
How do I turn nearby deal notifications on or off?
Open My account → Notifications → Nearby deal roundups. Turn alerts on and review the selected location, or use the settings to turn them off. Deal-roundup preferences are separate from other account notification settings.
How does notification reach work?
A recipient must opt in and be within the applicable browsing area and the deal’s notification reach. Owners can choose a reach of 1–50 km for eligible deal notifications. Choosing a wider reach does not guarantee recipients, views or sales.
What if I publish after a notification cutoff?
A late request is considered for the next eligible roundup; it is not added retroactively to a cutoff that has already passed. The deal must still be valid at that later time. If the deal expires first, it may be visible on the site without receiving a roundup notification.
Why didn’t I receive a nearby deal notification?
Check that alerts were enabled before the cutoff, the selected location and radius match, and an eligible deal was available. Expired, paused or sold-out deals are excluded. Previously dismissed items and offers outside the merchant’s reach may also be absent.
- Open notification settings and confirm nearby alerts are on.
- Check your selected browsing city and radius.
- Open the bell while LifeNavi is visible after an eligible roundup time.
Will notifications arrive when the website is closed?
In-site notifications appear while LifeNavi is open. Delivery while it is closed requires push support on your device, notification permission and an enabled subscription. Browser permission alone does not enable delivery. Check your notification settings and reopen LifeNavi to view the latest available alerts.
What does the black dot on the bell mean?
The black dot indicates unread notification activity. Open the bell to inspect the available roundups and offers. The orange notification presentation helps distinguish the notification content from the rest of the page. Opening an old item does not make an expired offer valid again.
Can I dismiss a deal notification?
Use the dismiss control on the notification where available. Dismissing an item hides that notification; it does not delete the business’s deal. To stop future nearby roundups, turn off nearby deal alerts in notification settings.
Do my deal-alert settings follow me to another browser?
The current nearby-deal alert preference and read/dismissed state are browser-based. Check the setting again on another device or after clearing site data. Other saved account notification preferences are separate from this nearby-roundup browser state.
How do I stop notifications for my boosted deal?
Open the notification campaign in Business → Boosts and choose Stop notifications. Confirm the action. This cancels that campaign’s future rounds while leaving the deal itself available if it is still active.
It does not stop separate placement boosts, undo already shown roundups or change the original receipt. Each notification campaign has its own stop action.
Why might I see the same deal in another roundup?
An owner can schedule multiple eligible sponsored roundups for a longer-running deal. Each round is a separate reminder and the deal must still be valid. Repeated inclusion does not mean the expiry has been extended. Review the current offer each time.
