How do I use my current location?
Open the location control and allow the browser to read your position. If the detected position is inside an active area, LifeNavi can use it as the centre of your nearby search. Browser accuracy varies; LifeNavi cannot make an imprecise device reading exact.
- Allow Location for LifeNavi in your browser and enable device location services.
- Open the location picker and wait for Browser location to finish checking.
- Choose your radius, then tap Apply.
What is visitor mode?
Visitor mode lets you explore an active city while you are elsewhere, or choose a different city while inside another active area. Results use the selected city’s configured geographical centre. Distances are from that centre, not from your physical location.
- Open the location picker.
- Choose an active city, such as Metro Manila or Delhi NCR.
- Set a radius and tap Apply.
Why do I still see pesos when browsing India?
Check Language & currency for a manual currency override. With automatic currency selected, Indian browsing and account amounts should use INR; the Philippines uses PHP. Original receipts keep their transaction currency, and a converted amount can retain its original currency if conversion data is unavailable.
- Open My account → Language & currency.
- Choose the automatic currency option if you want currency to follow the selected country.
- Select the Indian location again and refresh the affected page.
- If a new listing still shows the wrong currency, record the exact page and your currency setting.
Why doesn’t a Manila VPN change my current location?
A VPN changes the network address websites may see. The browser’s Location permission uses a separate location service and can still report your physical position. LifeNavi uses that browser reading for nearby mode. To browse Manila from elsewhere, choose Metro Manila as a visitor and tap Apply.
What does “Your current location is not active” mean?
The position reported by your browser is outside LifeNavi’s configured active areas. Choose one of the active cities and a radius, then Apply. You will browse as a visitor. This warning is about the detected position, not the city you may have previously selected.
What if location permission is blocked?
Enable Location for LifeNavi using the browser’s site permissions and check that your device allows location services for that browser. Return to LifeNavi and use Check again. If permission cannot be granted, select an active city in visitor mode; browsing does not require you to share your device location.
How do I refresh a wrong or old location?
Open the location picker and choose Check again or the refresh icon beside Browser location. Wait for the new reading and review the detected place before applying it. If you deliberately selected a visitor city, a background reading will not silently replace that selection.
Why does the browser show an approximate location?
The browser may have limited device or network signals, especially on a desktop. LifeNavi requests a fresh, high-accuracy reading and gives the browser time to improve it. If the reported accuracy is too broad, use an active city in visitor mode or try again when the device can obtain a better reading.
How far can I search?
The browsing radius is 1–50 km. In nearby mode it is measured around the browser-reported position. In visitor mode it is measured around the selected city centre. A larger radius can show more results, but it does not guarantee that a business delivers to your address.
Can I move the browsing pin to any point on the map?
No. Nearby browsing uses your browser-reported position, and visitor browsing uses a selected active city’s centre. The browsing map is a preview of that area. Pickup, delivery and booking-address forms are separate and may let you choose a precise address or pin.
What does “from city center” or “from you” mean?
“From city center” means you are browsing as a visitor and the distance starts at the selected city’s configured centre. “From you” uses the browser-reported position in nearby mode. Approximate city-level distances are not turn-by-turn routes or travel-time estimates.
Does changing my browsing city change my delivery address?
No. Your discovery location controls nearby content. A food delivery, service appointment or ride needs its own actual address or pickup point. Check those details during checkout or booking, even if the business appears in your search radius.
Can I use a different currency from the local one?
Yes. Choose a currency in Language & currency to override automatic display. Return to the automatic option to follow your selected country again. A display preference does not rewrite the currency of an existing invoice or change the payment terms shown at checkout.
Which timezone is used for deals and notifications?
Deal expiry and roundup schedules follow the selected deal market’s local timezone. Boost schedules show their times and timezone before confirmation. Performance reports use UTC reporting days. Check the label beside a schedule, particularly when browsing another country.
